The project brings together universities, public authorities, NGOs and umbrella organisations from across Europe and New Zealand to explore how participatory theatre and digital practices can equip young people to become active and engaged citizens.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The 0.4 FTE nature of this post suits early career researchers seeking flexibility alongside other commitments. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience of large-scale collaborative research, international networking, and interdisciplinary knowledge exchange across theatre, education and digital innovation.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Working closely with the Principal Investigator and the Royal Holloway research team, the post holder will contribute to transdisciplinary approaches combining theatre, citizenship education and digital innovation. Key responsibilities include: reviewing existing practices in citizenship education; developing training modules on media literacy and misinformation; integrating gamified and digital elements into educational resources for young people aged 15&ndash;29; conducting focus groups; supporting pilot activities and advocacy events; and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in theatre and performance studies, digital humanities, games and interactive media, media literacy, educational technology, participatory arts research, or related fields, who can demonstrate innovative approaches to engaging users through digital and gamified methodologies.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or be close to completion, with expertise in research methods relevant to the project and knowledge of gamified approaches to theatre and/or education. Experience of collaborative research with cultural and educational organisations and co-designed stakeholder engagement is essential.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international, multi-agency environment, and experience of contributing to high-quality publications. The role-holder will work closely with other colleagues in the university including, IT, Marketing and Communications and other members of the Student Administration team.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We are seeking an experienced and highly organised professional to join our Enrolment and Records team, playing a key role in supporting the University&#39;s compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) requirements and safeguarding our Student Sponsor Licence.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate student visa, passport and CAS records, monitoring compliance with immigration regulations, issuing Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), reporting changes in student circumstances to UKVI, supporting enrolment and immigration checking processes, and contributing to UKVI audits and sponsor licence renewal activities. You will work closely with colleagues across the University to ensure robust compliance processes are maintained and that international students receive an excellent service throughout their student journey.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Alongside strong compliance knowledge and attention to detail, this role requires excellent technical and data management skills. The successful applicant will join a research team lead by Dr Jessica Kingston and Dr Christopher Tayor alongside the co-investigator team: Professor Richard Bentall, Dr Victoria Pile, Katie Biggs, Dr Harry Hill, Esther Herbert and a strong patient public involvement team.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Under the supervision of the Joint CIs, we are seeking an enthusiastic research assistant to be the on-site research lead for the schools-based therapy trial. The role involves: on-boarding schools, recruiting schools and participants, screening and conducting detailed eligibility assessments with potential participants, consenting adolescent participants, compiling datasets, working with PPI consultants and the research team, drafting reports, working with the project team to write up the results. The post-holder will be responsible under supervision for running all research aspects of this schools-based trial hosted at Pennine Care NHS FT. This specific post requires regular attendance at schools, colleges and/or Sixth Forms in the London area. For this reason, we are seeking a candidate who is local to the London area.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful applicant will gain high quality training within paranoia and clinical psychology research, and delivery of semi-structured psychosocial assessments, receive weekly supervision and work on a trial that will advance the field of adolescent paranoia research. The post would suit an individual interested in pursuing a career in clinical psychology and/or clinical research (and we have excellent track record of supporting colleagues to progress in these careers).</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Main duties and responsibilities</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Under the supervision of the PI, to be responsible for setting up and running the trial in London Secondary Schools and the surrounding area.             <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Full-Time, Fixed-Term (17 months)</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow (PDRF) in the Department of Economics.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the research project <strong>&ldquo;Labour markets and deep recessions&rdquo;.</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This project will use comprehensive administrative data from the social security system of Greece to study the evolution of the Greek labour market through expansion in the 2000s, deep recession in the early 2010s, and recovery in the late 2010s. The research will focus on three main questions. First, how do wages and employment evolve during different economic conditions and what role do labour market institutions&mdash;such as minimum wage laws and collective bargaining systems&mdash;play in shaping the adjustment to shocks? Second, does productivity growth recover after a major recession, or do disruptions to firm entry and business dynamism have persistent effects? Third, how do these shocks affect inequality across workers, especially with respect to income, job mobility, age, and gender?</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Manolis Galenianos as part of the research team. The role will involve contributing to the empirical and quantitative analysis of the project, including econometric analysis of the administrative data and the application of model-based tools to understand labour-market dynamics. This may include coding, simulation, numerical analysis, and estimation of economic models. The post holder will bring clinical and research experience related to clinical psychology in the NHS or HEI sector. The Doctorate Course in Clinical Psychology, is a large, well-established course, with a national reputation for innovative practice and rigorous research. This post offers the candidates the opportunity to work across clinical, academic and selection aspects of the Course to enhance the existing staff provision.
