            <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">Full Time, Fixed Term (12 months)</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, starting 1 September 2026, for a period of 12 months. The post is open to applicants with a background in any area of psychology, although there is a preference for expertise in developmental psychology.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applicants should possess the broad range of skills required to teach effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to lead others in teaching delivery and development. They should also demonstrate strong commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for our students.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Candidates for this teaching-focused post should have a relevant research background as well as a track record of making significant contributions to teaching practice in psychology, for example through the development of successful teaching and learning aids and/or pedagogic publications.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including generous annual leave and development opportunities, in an internationally recognised department that ranks among the best in the UK for research (3<sup>th</sup> among UK Psychology departments in REF 2021) and receives very strong ratings from our students for teaching (UK NSS).             <p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Full-time, Fixed-Term (2 years)</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Teaching Associate post in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, starting <strong>1 September 2026</strong>.&nbsp;</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The post holder will engage in teaching, supervision, and assessment across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role is mainly student facing and is ideally suited for people who have recently completed a PhD and who are interested in developing their educational skills within a supportive department. They should be enthusiastic about delivering effective high-quality teaching and supervision of student research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will have expertise in more applied areas of psychology (e.g., clinical, forensic, health, applied social, developmental, or occupational), although applicants with expertise in other areas will also be considered.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The post holders will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching.             <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">Part Time, Fixed Term (0.5 FTE, One-year contract)</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for the position of Lecturer in Occupational Therapy in the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Science. We seek outstanding individuals to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary academic team for the unique MSc (Pre-registration) Occupational Therapy course, launched in September 2024.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This new post is teaching-focused. The post holder will support the Course Lead in the effective delivery of the MSc (Pre-registration) Occupational Therapy course and lead admissions and recruitment for the course, alongside teaching and placement-link lecturing.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We are particularly interested in passionate occupational therapists with a contemporary, sustainable approach, and in how this could translate into innovative teaching across the course. Candidates with knowledge and experience in physical health settings and in teaching and supervising students at higher education institutions are desirable. Other activities could include delivering seminars and workshops, supporting the administration of teaching in the department, and taking part in initiatives designed to enhance the experience of our students.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applicants must have completed an honours degree in Psychology and should be equipped with the subject knowledge necessary to deliver a high-quality undergraduate programme in Psychology.
