The Department of Law and Criminology is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated colleague to join our dynamic team. In this post, we are seeking applicants to contribute to our teaching delivery on our BSc Social Sciences, BSc Health and Social Care and our MSc Social Work courses. The position will involve teaching undergraduate and Masters core and optional modules on these courses. We are interested in candidates with teaching expertise in Human Development, Social Policy, Health and Social Care topics and with teaching and practice experience in Social Work. We expect applicants to possess a broad range of skills needed to teach effectively as well as academic leadership and an effective contribution to course or department administration or projects improving the student experience.

Applicants with a (forensic/criminological) Psychology background that could supervise dissertations in our BPS-accredited BSc Criminology and Psychology programme are especially encouraged to apply.
