            <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true"><strong>Full-Time, Fixed-Term (8 months)</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Part time will be considered</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for the post of Research Services Officer in the Research and Innovation Department at Royal Holloway, University of London.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We are looking for an exceptional administrator who will play a key role in delivering effective day-to-day operational support and advice related to the costing and submission of research proposals, and the offer acceptance of new awards. The post serves the purpose of sustaining administrative support to academic staff who apply for research funding and administering information about research grant applications.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The post will require previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a research or higher education environment, an aptitude for financial management, and excellent attention to detail. Candidates should have excellent organisational and numerical skills and the ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. Candidates will have experience of successfully using Microsoft excel to a proficient level and have a willingness to learn other systems. Reporting to the Head of Research Contracts, the Research Contracts and IP Manager is one of a team responsible for the efficient and effective management of the University&rsquo;s academic research income and intellectual property portfolio.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with significant experience of the drafting and negotiating of research related agreements and intellectual property agreements and preferably some experience of supporting the commercialisation of research outputs. This is a key role supporting the University&#39;s ambition to grow its research excellence, international partnerships, and research income through European Union, Official Development Assistance (ODA), and international funding opportunities.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">As Research Development Manager: EU &amp; International, you will play a strategic role in helping the University secure funding from major international sponsors, including Horizon Europe, ODA funders, international agencies, governments, foundations, and other global funding bodies.
