Casual Post (Evening and/or weekends)

The Library Services at Royal Holloway are seeking to appoint candidates to the role of Extended Hours Library Assistant. Extended hours library assistants are key to continuing delivery of a high standard of library service during weekday evenings and weekends.

The role requires the ability to answer user enquiries in person and online, and to interact successfully with a wide variety of people. You should be able to work as a member of the team while taking personal responsibility for completing your assigned tasks. You will have good IT and social media skills, excellent attention to detail and have experience of working in a customer service environment. 

This is a casual post, and you will be working during the evenings and weekends. You should be available to work during the summer periods of vacation, however we will honour any holidays that you have planned for this period. There is scope for picking up extra hours during busy periods.
