This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.

To be successful in this role you will have an outgoing personality with the creative flair to assist with developing an exciting student activities programme to encourage the students to use their local Café Bar.

You will able to provide effective supervision, helping to ensure our varied tasty food offer is delivered whilst providing inspirational customer service, so that each customer feels special.

This is very much a ‘hands on’ position to support the operational efficiency of the main residential bar on campus, which also includes supervising and encouraging your team to exceed expectations.

To be successful in this post you will need:

  • Ability to organise, brief and supervise a team of staff
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A good knowledge of food and beverage
  • Understanding and knowledge of stock control
  • Ability to Train and support the team 

The role will also assist with providing the bars for main college events such as graduation and open days, as well as for weddings and conferences. 

You will be expected to lead your team in assist in driving the business forward and delivering the best to our customers, ensuring the highest quality service and standards. 

The ideal candidate must be motivated by people, your team and your customers. 

This position is full time and is available immediately.
