            <p style="margin-left:0cm;" data-pasted="true">Part-Time, Permanent (14 hours per week)</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Applications are invited for the post of Student Fees Administrator in the Student Fees Department.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We&rsquo;re looking for a proactive and customer‑focused individual to help deliver high‑quality financial services to our student community. In this role, you&rsquo;ll play a key part in managing student accounts and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of our financial operations.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You&rsquo;ll work closely with student customers, academic departments, other University teams, and external organisations, helping to ensure accounts are accurate, queries are resolved efficiently, and services are delivered to a consistently high standard. The role also includes responsibility for day‑to‑day credit control across a portfolio of major accounts and/or a defined section of the student sales ledger.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">This is a varied role that combines behind‑the‑scenes financial administration with direct student engagement. You&rsquo;ll regularly meet with students through scheduled appointments at the Student Services Centre, working on a rota basis to provide clear, supportive guidance on financial matters.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">If you enjoy balancing detailed administrative work with meaningful customer interaction&mdash;and want to contribute to a service that genuinely supports students&mdash;this could be an excellent opportunity.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high standard of numeracy, and strong attention to detail. You will be confident using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, able to manage your own workload independently, and prioritise effectively while also contributing positively as part of a wider team. The role requires the ability to liaise confidently with a broad range of internal and external colleagues, work calmly under pressure, and meet firm deadlines.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will demonstrate discretion, empathy and sensitivity when dealing with students, alongside a clear understanding of and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Experience of working with a computerised finance or accounting system&mdash;ideally Agresso&mdash;together with knowledge of tuition fee processes within the higher education sector, would be highly desirable, as would experience in credit control or accounts receivable. A commitment to continuous improvement and professional development is essential. The post holder will carry out basic maintenance and porterage tasks, room checks and assist with the preparation of accommodation for summer schools, and conference guests. Working as part of a team, the post holder will triage and log maintenance issues. This role contributes to ensuring that all residential areas remain clean, safe, functional and ready for occupation.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Basic DIY or maintenance skills, an understanding of health and safety principles and the ability to meet deadlines are important for this role.             <p id="isPasted">Applications are invited for the post of Teaching and Engagement Librarian supporting the Faculty of Law and Business within the Library, Learning Support and Culture Directorate.</p><p>Joining the Teaching and Engagement team at an exciting phase of development at Royal Holloway, this new role will strengthen the Library&#39;s support for the Faculty of Law and Business, reflecting growing student numbers and increasing demand for high‑quality, embedded information and digital literacy teaching. You will be part of a collaborative and friendly team of Teaching and Engagement Librarians and will work closely with academic colleagues, professional services partners, and the wider Library, Learning Support and Culture team.</p><p>As a Teaching and Engagement Librarian, you will lead the design and delivery of engaging, inclusive information and digital literacy teaching, working closely with academics to embed skills development across undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.</p><p>You will build strong working relationships with programme leaders, academic departments and university services to understand teaching and research needs, promote the use of library resources, and contribute to curriculum development, validation and review processes. You will provide expert guidance and support to students and staff through a range of methods, including group teaching, drop‑ins, online resources and one‑to‑one appointments.</p><p>To succeed in this role, you will be a strong communicator with experience in providing information or research support within a library or learning support environment. You will bring excellent digital and IT skills, a passion for inclusive teaching, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
