Applications are invited for the post of Hall Life Assistant in the Academic Services Directorate

Please note: This opportunity is only available to current students of Royal Holloway University of London

There are 22x positions available. These are Part Time, Fixed-Term (until June 2020)

38 weeks per year, 3 hours per week

Empowering students living in hall to settle into hall life, their transition and aiding them through positive interventions, campaigns and events to help them live independently, foster belonging and to offer peer to peer guidance and support so that students living in hall can focus on their academic studies.

Working with the Hall Life Duty Officer and other services across College to provide a friendly and professional peer-to-peer support service to students living in College Halls Accommodation. To help student residents settle in to life at Royal Holloway through the running of innovative events and campaigns, to help foster a positive community promoting good behaviour and the support available to students. Hall Life Assistants will provide out of hours support to students living in halls through regular interaction with student residents under the supervision of the Hall Life Duty Officer during their shift. 

This exciting post requires you to live on site and be part of an exciting team where you will develop your leadership, problem solving, and management and communication skills.
