Applications are invited for the post of Head of Student Administration Systems in the IT Services Department.

This post leads the Student Administration Systems team within IT Services Enterprise Applications supporting core IT services across the Student Lifecycle.

Managing a vital core team, this role is responsible for the student administration services and reporting software strategy, as well as for managing the development, integration, implementation and operational support of multiple technologies within an ITIL Service Management and Delivery Framework.

Understanding and experience of working with market-leading student systems software is desirable. The College currently uses Ellucian Banner as its main student records system, but we are starting the process of moving to a solution provide by TechnologyOne. Understanding the student academic lifecycle and associated processes is essential to support registry and student-facing services alongside master student data management. Other services within the portfolio include online applications, applicant & student engagement, and a variety of data integrations using a mix of Ellucian, Oracle and Microsoft technologies.

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications, this role will also be responsible and accountable for the operational and service management of live Student Administrative services as well as leading on the strategy and futures of the service portfolio. Supplier and contract management is also required.
