Become a Peer Mentor at Royal Holloway


Want to help new students feel welcome and confident at university? Looking for paid work that builds your skills and makes a real difference?


We’re recruiting Peer Mentors to support first-year students during their transition to life at Royal Holloway, University of London.


As a Peer Mentor, you’ll:

Meet regularly with a small group of new students
Share your experience and help them settle in
Signpost to academic and wellbeing support
Build leadership, communication and teamwork skills
Get paid £13.90 per hour (up to 20 hours across the year).


You must be a Royal Holloway student in 2026–27 and able to attend training and mentoring sessions in Terms 1 and 2.
