Applications are invited for the post of Plumber in the Estates Department

Salary is £24,151 to £28,377 per annum inclusive of London Allowance 1

Plus £2,000 market supplement (provided the successful candidate holds a relevant NVQ3 qualification required for this role)

Working as part of our Maintenance Services team you will take joint responsibility for the various electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks across our campus ensuring you communicate effectively with our customers and colleagues whilst remaining self-motivated and putting the customer at the heart of everything you do.

To be successful in these roles you will need to demonstrate:

  • You have an NVQ3 level qualification in Plumbing
  • Ideally you hold a JIB Skills Card

You should be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in fault finding and repairs on a wide range of systems and equipment
  • An ability to deal efficiently and politely with our customers face to face
  • A calm and organised approach to your work and are able to work to set priorities and problem solve efficiently
  • A passion for customer service improvement and ensuring that you keep our customers informed whenever they need our service.
  • A good understanding of IT systems 
  • Good health and safety practice
