Applications are invited for the post of Residential Customer Service Advisor in the Residential Services Team.
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused individual to deliver a high standard of reception services, ensuring that our students, staff, and visitors enjoy an excellent experience in line with our Commercial Services mission of delivering Inspirational Customer Service.
As a key member of the team, the post holder will provide front-facing reception services in person, via email, and over the phone. They will be the primary point of contact for residential service enquiries, requests, and associated administrative tasks. Based in our university accommodation reception areas, the role will involve working closely with colleagues in the department and across other Professional Services to ensure a seamless approach to supporting our core student residences and seasonal commercial activities.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a reception or customer service role, ideally within a residential or accommodation setting. They should demonstrate a passion for delivering Inspirational Customer Service and possess good administration, communication, organisational, problem-solving skills and strong IT skills and an understanding of the evolving digital landscape are essential.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment on a shift-based rotation.
This is a permanent role, working 5 out of 7 days on a rota-based shift pattern, which includes weekends, early mornings, and evenings.
