Alumni Relations Marketing and Communications Intern

This role is only open to applicants who graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London with an undergraduate degree (or integrated Masters) in the summer of 2018.

Applications are invited from 2018 Royal Holloway graduates for the post of Alumni Relations Marketing and Communications Intern in the Development and Alumni Relations Department.

Part Time, Fixed Term Graduate Internship (4 days per week for 4 weeks)

The post-holder would be part of a team which is responsible for encouraging all alumni to stay involved with the College through regular communications, invitations to events and promotion of volunteering opportunities. The team also works across the College to raise money and awareness for projects that are essential to the University’s ambitions. 

The successful candidate will work with directly with the Alumni Relations managers.  The role will focus on supporting marketing activity to alumni including ‘lost alumni’ strategies and assisting with managing social media sites including Twitter and Facebook.  The second part of the role pertains to the Graduate Outcomes survey and supporting marketing and events activity to engage with recent graduates and to raise awareness of the survey.  

To be successful in this role you should have the ability to meet deadlines, prioritise work load, an excellent standard of written English, an eye for detail, the ability to work as part of a team and an understanding of social media and marketing/communications.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
