The Senior Governance Officer will work with the University Secretary and the other members of the Governance team to ensure that the University's governance functions operate to the highest standard. The Senior Governance Officer will also work closely with the members of our Council, including our Chair, the Vice Chancellor and Principal, the members of the University senior leadership team, and the Executive Support Office.
Candidates will be motivated to work in a dynamic environment, and will have experience working with corporate governance in the public, private, or charity sectors. Understanding of the higher education environment, and university operations, is an asset but not a requirement. Candidates will have demonstrated high organisational skills, diplomacy, communication and minute-taking skills, and an interest in university decision-making and operations.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey, at the main campus of the University, situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from central London. The role is office-based. However, some working from home may be negotiated.
