Applications are invited for the post of Widening Access Officer in the Marketing and Communications Department

The higher education widening participation strategy is of paramount importance in representing the diversity of wider society in the country’s universities. Through targeted delivery of effective recruitment and outreach activity, Royal Holloway, University of London will support the widening access agenda by educating and inspiring students from under-represented groups, particularly those living in areas where students are less likely to progress to university. 

Your role as Widening Access Officer will be to devise and develop a suite of activities that you will present to prospective students. You will project manage outreach activities and use your communication expertise to develop long term and supportive relationships with target schools and colleges.

You will be an independent thinker, confident presenter and have the passion to open the doors to Royal Holloway to students from a wide range of backgrounds. Experienced in either widening participation or student recruitment, this role can take you to the next stage in your career.
