Applications are invited for the post of Programme Leader of Summer School Programme based in the Centre for the Development of Academic Skills (CeDAS)

This position is Part-Time, Fixed Term (March – August 2019)and the successful candidate will be eligible for an honorarium of £5,000 for the duration of this role.

From summer 2019 the College will be piloting an international credit-bearing Summer School. The post holder would be responsible for overseeing the design and validation of the undergraduate modules that will be taught on the programme and would be expected to serve as academic director and personal tutor for the students on the programme. They would contribute to the teaching of the programme. The post holder would supervise visiting lecturers teaching on the programme and work closely with the programme administrator. 

Candidates are expected to have experience at undergraduate module design and validation, at supervising visiting lecturers and undertaking programme administration from admissions to exam board levels. Candidates should have experience at providing student support through personal tutor work as well as engaging in extracurricular activities. Experience of working with international students and understanding of international higher education systems would be very helpful.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London. There will be some travel to London on student study trips and some anti-social hours during the Summer School.
