Salary is £27,511 per annum. London Allowance of £2,134 will be payable in addition to salary.

Do you want to help support young people on their journey to higher education? Are you a creative, organised project co-ordinator and an effective communicator? We’re looking for two officers to join the newly formed Widening Access team at Royal Holloway, University of London as we expand our important work across London and the South East.

The two roles will require superb project management skills, attention to detail, relationship management and excellent communication to lead on our long term outreach programme and community projects. We are looking for dynamic and proactive people to work with schools, colleges and local communities to break down barriers to higher education for young people from under-represented groups. 

You must be confident presenting to and engaging with a variety of stakeholders from secondary school students to academic colleagues within the College.

This events and project focused role is based in the Widening Access team which is responsible for delivering an annual programme of effective outreach initiatives that meet the requirements of our Access and Participation Plan as agreed with the Office for Students.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.

Due to the nature of the role regular travel to schools/colleges in London and the South East is required and some semi-regular hours based in a school/college may be required as the role develops.
