Applications are invited for the post of Health and Safety Administrative Assistant in the Health and Safety Office, part of the Legal and Governance Directorate. 

Joining the Health and Safety Office as it expands to support the college more effectively and proactively, this role will provide a broad range of administrative support tasks to members of the team and others within the college as required.  

We require a professional and personable individual who can prioritise tasks and demonstrates a high level of organisational skills and flexibility. Their task will be varied but will include: the use of financial systems to raise requisitions, organising health surveillance appointments, processing date to produce reports, publishing the team webpage, and managing training records, contact lists, and other documentation. 

The Health and Safety Office is customer focused, assisting and empowering colleagues to allow them to make appropriate decisions about health and safety. While legal compliance is the minimum, we strive for excellence and best practice within the Higher Education sector. This is achieved through building relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally. While this role will not be providing health and safety advice an interest or experience in the area is an advantage.
