This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.
Do you have an outgoing personality with a passion for great food and excellent customer service?
We are looking for a front of house shift leader to join our team.
You will be working in the dining hall; helping the Assistant Catering Manager and Team Leader with the day to day supervision of both term time and vacation business. During the terms, your role will be welcoming students and staff, organising the front of house areas and supervising a team to provide the best customer experience. The role during the vacation will focus on conferences, language schools and events.
This is very much a ‘hands on’ position to support the operational efficiency of the service, which also includes supervising and encouraging your team to exceed expectations. The role will involve working evenings and weekends as necessary.
To be successful in this post you will need:
- Ability to organise and supervise a team of staff
- Understanding and knowledge of stock control
- Cash handling
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
The ideal candidate must be motivated by people, with a love for training and supporting other members of the team. Be able to stay highly focused during intense service periods whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Candidates will need great communication skills and the ability to work using their initiative, making a contribution as part of a team. Previous experience of supervising a team is required but we will take into account your passion for the industry.
The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
