The Estates department is in the process of developing the Colleges historic estate to provide a 21st century campus and user experience that meets the increasingly contemporary needs of the people studying, working, and visiting here. The Estates Department is in the final stages of a post pandemic restructure and the new Data Analyst role is a key enabling part of this new structure.
This newly created role, reporting through to the Estates Data Analysis Business Partner, is a key planning and operational position for both the University’s Estates Department and Strategic Planning Team. It will provide analysis and data management for both teams, focussing on ensuring efficient, secure, and sustainable use of data and information management approaches for systems and projects.
Working with both the Estates and Strategic Planning team, the successful individual will have excellent communication and prioritisation skills. Working as part of a wider future data management team, this role will facilitate timely and relevant information gathering, analysis and interpretation to enable operational delivery and effective strategic decision-making.
The post holder will require sound experience in data management and analysis and the ability to interpret and work with multiple datasets to deliver effective analyses and reports. It will also involve advanced skills in use of Microsoft tools (including Office 365 and Excel) along with demonstrable experience of using a variety of technical platforms.
In return we offer a highly competitive rewards and benefits package including:
- Generous annual leave entitlement
- Training and Development opportunities
- Pension Scheme with generous employer contribution
- Various schemes including Cycle to Work, Season Ticket Loans and help with the cost of Eyesight testing.
- Free parking
