  • Lecturer Salary is £46,548 to £54,975 per annum (including London Allowance)
  • Senior Lecturer Salary is £56,555 to £65,193 per annum (including London Allowance)

This is an exciting time to join us as we are looking to build on our current successes, our heritage, and our strategic location, to become a leading School nationally and globally by investing in all areas of activity. We offer programmes at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels, both nationally, from our Egham and Central London Campuses, and internationally, through our global partners, including Kaplan (Singapore) and Coursera.  Additionally, the school is developing an ambitious portfolio of post experience programmes. 

The Candidate

The Department of Accounting and Financial Management is expanding and seeking an outstanding lecturer/senior lecturer to join the team. To be successful, you must be passionate about teaching and learning, with a keen desire to prepare students for the changing digital world, and major business and societal challenges. The candidate must demonstrate ability to teach and assess topics both in person and online at Undergraduate/Postgraduate levels effectively and creatively.

We are committed to multidisciplinary and responsible, challenge-led research that engages with contemporary debates in policy, profession, business and society. We are particularly interested to hear from qualitative or quantitative researchers with teaching experience and research track record in the following areas: 

  • Management accounting for performance management, decision-making, and strategy in different settings 
  • Management Accounting for social innovation and sustainability
  • Management Accounting in the new Digital world 

The successful candidate will have a track record (or the potential) of impactful world-leading or internationally excellent research. Evidence of developing funding applications and an emerging track record of success is highly desirable.

We welcome candidates with prior business experience who wish to make an impact to the subject area through research, teaching, and knowledge exchange. Experience or interest in provision/design of short courses/exec education is desirable.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated, but you may be required to undertake some work at other locations including at our Central London Campus and abroad.
