StoryFutures Assistant Producer

Salary is £27,511 per annum pro rata. London Allowance of £2,134 will be payable in addition to salary.

We are looking for a highly organized, personable and enthusiastic Assistant Producer to work with our team in developing immersive experiences through Research and Development. The role is a unique opportunity that will place you face to face with some of the UK’s most cutting-edge creative innovators, top industry players, and world-leading researchers. It is a chance to gain experience across creative R&D, communications and events, and contribute to the development of a high-growth, dynamic immersive storytelling sector. 

The post holder will work closely on our StoryFutures China project, with The National Gallery and Arcade, as well as partners in Shanghai. Mandarin is therefore desirable, but not essential to the post. 

Working closely with the StoryLab Producer, you will be providing assistance and support in organizing research on relevant immersive productions in the UK and China, to provide assistance and support in preparing relevant meetings, workshops, stakeholder, testing and dissemination events and activities and to work with industry stakeholders to undertake short research tasks, including interviews and desk-based research, to inform the project management team’s production decisions.

Further duties will include supporting research organizations in immersive production outputs, including file formatting, workflow management, proof reading copy and relevant clearance work to ensure final immersive productions are ready for publication as a part of the project.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.

This is a part time role (0.4 FTE / 2 days per week) on a 5-month fixed term contract from 1st July 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
