Are you exceptionally well-organised, have a keen knowledge of digital film production equipment, and are willing to share your considerable practical knowledge and professional experience with our creative students? If so, we are inviting applications for a Production Resources Coordinator. 

Working as one of our dedicated technical support team, serving a creative student community of around four hundred undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, you will run our equipment lending service, provide operational guidance and advisory support, and coordinate bookings and class schedules for our specialist media production facilities. 

Having extensive experience in production equipment hire or similar customer-facing technical service operation, you will be able to organise multiple kits of film production equipment at a detailed operational level, serving complex range of different production requirements. Your excellent communication skills will include the ability to enable students from our diverse community to understand technical and operational concepts in the context of their practice assessments. You will also have an up-to-date understanding of professional location filming practice, together with associated product knowledge. 

This is a demanding and hands-on role involving a significant amount of manual handling and ability to work calmly and effectively during our very busy production periods. The post requires full time attendance during office hours, with occasional need to support special events at weekends, such as Open Days, an evening events.
