Casual Catering Assistant – Hub & Founder’s Dining Hall
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Services team, which is responsible for the delivery of a range of services across campus to enhance the student, staff and visitor experience.
Salary is £13.72 per hour

We require catering staff to work in either the Hub dining hall or Founder’s dining hall.
Your role will be working with summer schools and conferences; serving food and drink to large groups of people whilst remaining calm under pressure.
The ideal candidate must be motivated by people and be a team player; the expectations are high, as are our standards.
To be successful in this post you will need:
- To be focused on delivering inspirational customer service
- Strong communication skills
- To be punctual, reliable, and consistent
- To be a team player working closely with your peers
- To be friendly and approachable
- To be a positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude (be proactive, not reactive)
- Excellent attention to detail
You will need to be available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week from mid-June to mid - August, and be prepared to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
