Applications are invited for the post of Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Social Work.

The Department of Social Work is part of the School of Law and Social Sciences, alongside the Departments of Economics, Politics, International Relations and Philosophy, and Law and Criminology. We are forward thinking, multidisciplinary and research active. We offer undergraduate programmes in Social Science, together with Masters programmes in Social Work and Advanced Practice and a PG Dip Programme on Step Up to Social Work. We are also home to an energetic postgraduate research student community.   

We seek an outstanding teacher to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The Senior Teaching Fellow post is 0.5 FTE and will take a leading role in the management of the professional placements on our MSc Social Work programme. The position includes teaching across our different programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching experience in skills for social workers and readiness for practice.  We also expect academic leadership and an effective contribution to programme or department administration or projects improving the student experience.

The fixed term post is available from January 2022 or soon thereafter and is based in both Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and in our Campus at 11 Bedford Square, London.
