Applications are invited for the post of Senior Designer in the Directorate of Marketing and Communications.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Holloway creative team at a significant time for the University as it launches its innovative strategy, alongside a brand refresh. Reporting to the Creative Operations Manager, the Senior Designer plays a key role in a small team of specialists providing creative design support for a wide range of projects across the digital and print spectrum, including key publications and marketing materials, crucial to the promotion and reputation of Royal Holloway.
The Senior Designer will be a qualified, experienced graphic designer used to working across digital and print media. You’ll need to demonstrate a track record of working creatively, collaboratively and within brand guidelines, maintaining high standards, and meeting deadlines. The successful candidate will show initiative, enthusiasm and creative flair, as well as being a team player.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a disciplined, organised, structured approach to their work, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team in a hybrid setting.
Applicants must have extensive experience of the Adobe creative suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. A good understanding of Microsoft programmes is also desirable and ideally some understanding of video edit work using Premiere Pro and a keen interest in photography and filming.

The post is based in Egham, where the University is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
This is a fixed term post for 18 months from commencement.
