The University's research projects generate an annual income of over £14m per annum. The Research & Innovation team is responsible for providing expert advice and guidance, and administering external research funding, for academics and Departments within the College, including compliance with and negotiation of agreements.  

We are looking for an experienced individual to join the close-knit Intellectual Property and Contracts team (which is a small part of the Research & Innovation team).  The team is responsible for negotiating a wide range of research related agreements and intellectual property agreements and for providing advice to support the College’s knowledge exchange and commercialisation activities.   You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with excellent drafting and organisational skills. You will have demonstrable experience of contract and intellectual property support, ideally within an HEI environment or research intensive environment, and proven ability to problem solve and take critical decisions.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London. At present most members of the Research & Innovation team are working from home and flexible working can be accommodated.
