The Head of Strategic Grants within Research and Innovation (R&I) is a pivotal appointment for the College, focussing on enabling the delivery of the College’s strategic plan and its commitment to challenge-led research. 

Reporting to the Director of Research and Innovation, the Head of Strategic Grants is a member of the Senior Management Team in R&I and is responsible for providing leadership and vision for the Strategic Grants team, for maintaining professional links with key external agencies associated with research funding and policy and for ensuring the provision of high-level support and robust processes, systems and data.

You will be an experienced Research Management and Administration professional with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to think and act strategically.  You will have an excellent understanding of research funding and funders and the capability to build strong and credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
